The principles I apply when teaching meditation are grounded in the qualities and concepts of traditional meditation and mindfulness practice modalities: Zazen, Vipassana, and Dadirri—the ancient Indigenous Australian practice of inner deep listening and quiet still awareness. All recognise the potential that is inside us.
The foundation of what I practice and teach, and the way I engage with this process, has been refined and adjusted over more than fifteen years, both through intensive self-study and thousands of hours facilitating others in mindfulness practice.
I present meditation not just as a practice but as a state of awareness to be maintained in every moment—a total awareness that awakens the individual from automatic conditioned responses, limiting beliefs, and emotional patterns. All such experiences, however uncomfortable or difficult to accept, are explained and regarded as opportunities—tools for transformation—to cultivate self-knowledge and guide students beyond the mind.
MR WOOLF training programs are tailored to the needs of each student and are designed to provide relevant and effective mind workouts for every level of meditator—from beginners to experienced individuals.
